This Days Inn offers excellent value and proximity to the beach to its guests, but many recent reviews report significant concerns regarding room cleanliness, maintenance, and staff professionalism. Frequent issues include non-functioning amenities, false breakfast advertising, and thin walls.

Great place to stay and very reasonable rates. Clean up to date rooms, the only complaint i would have is they done away with breakfast. So if you're a morning breakfast person before you continue a trip you will have to find a place down the road. Wish they would bring it back.

The site says "Free Breakfast." There is a sign in the lobby that says "Daybreak Breakfast." The "breakfast" was coffee and juice. No eggs, no cereal, no pancakes, no waffles. Just juice and coffee. The "breakfast" is only from 6-9. Most other motels have coffee all day Also, no elevator. I thought the rooms had a musty smell but not sure why. The people I used to make the reservation refused to do a refund even though the front desk said that they had no problem with a refund, so I will decline the charges through my card company.

The women up front were great, but the rooms were not. It did not feel like somewhere I wanted to stay the night, so I left early. • Door trouble (did not close properly, but thankfully the deadbolt worked) • Strong unknown smell • Tub stopper missing and shower head not screwed on properly when I arrived

The location of this Days Inn by Wyndham in Navarre is honestly perfect. It’s right across from beach access, on the main road, next to a 24/7 gym, and there’s a pool. From the outside, the property looks acceptable. That’s where the positives end. Read the reviews—because they are all true. The rooms are dirty, old, and poorly maintained. I stayed for a full week and no housekeeping ever checked in—no sweeping, no linen changes, nothing. The rooms feel neglected and filthy, even though the hotel is largely empty during the week. Several things in the room didn’t work properly: TV and lamps had issues Internet was unreliable and often unusable Phones in the rooms don’t work Doors don’t open or close correctly Walls are extremely thin Rooms are musty and outdated Windows do not open This hotel is worth about $50 per night, and no more. The staff is hit or miss. Morning staff were generally more pleasant and professional. However, one front desk employee named Paula was extremely unpleasant and unhelpful, with no customer service skills whatsoever. The most concerning issue: One night around 10 PM, another guest was given a key to my room and attempted to enter while I was inside working. Thankfully, I had the bolt locked. This was alarming and unacceptable, especially since the area already feels sketchy. I had to call the front desk from my cell phone because, again, the room phones do not work. Also, they advertise breakfast—this is false. There is no breakfast. At best, there may be coffee for a short time in the morning, but that’s it. I initially stayed because I got a $50/night deal, which was tolerable for remote work, gym access, and the beach. When I tried to extend for just five more nights, the rate jumped by $20 per night, which is absolutely not justified for the condition of this hotel. I found a La Quinta (also Wyndham) 15 miles away that was significantly better, with breakfast, working amenities, and proper upkeep. Final verdict: I would not recommend this hotel unless it is literally your last option. Poor cleanliness, safety concerns, false advertising, and outdated rooms make it not worth the price unless it’s extremely cheap.

Not sure if I neglected to look at the reviews before booking or something else, but I definitely messed up on this one. First things first, the staff was very nice, every single one of them. But that is really the only positive thing I can say. The room was basic. The TV was not working so I had to go to the front counter and the lady told me I had to unplug it and leave it unplugged for a few minutes for the TV to work. It did the trick. The water pressure for the shower was almost non-existent. The hotel is apparently frequented by Hispanic construction workers who will rent several rooms at a time. I have to mention this so what I write next makes sense. On Night 2 of my stay, at approximately 0100 hours, I was awoken by loud banging next door. When I looked out of the window I saw Santa Rosa Sheriffs Department Deputies. They continued to loudly knock on the next rooms door so I eventually opened my door to see what was going on. The Deputy immediately told me to get back in my room. I was a little confused and asked what was going on. The Deputy then told me that someone called because the occupants in the room made a lot of noise. He then proceeded to ask me if I knew the people staying in that room and I told him no. He then asked me again if "I was sure that I didn't know them" and I repeated that I did not. I truly believe he asked me a second time because he believed I was part of a larger group of workers that were renting several rooms. Does me looking Spanish had something to do with their suspicion that I was not being truthful with not knowing who they were...I can only speculate. Regardless, I think they could have handled their encounter with me a little better. Afterall, I was a paying guest at the location and they woke me up, not the other way around. A simple "sorry for the noise, we are investigating xy and c and will try to wrap it up as soon as possible" would have been nice. Will I make reservations at this location in the future...most likely not.

Below is a description that touches on guest safety, ADA standards, hotel misrepresentation, and basic hospitality expectations. Let’s unpack your points clearly and accurately: ? Toilet Height Standards • Standard residential toilet height is about 15 inches from floor to seat (“standard height”). • Comfort height / ADA-compliant toilets are 17 to 19 inches from floor to seat, designed to make sitting and standing easier, especially for older adults or anyone with joint issues. • A toilet that’s only 10 inches off the ground is unusually low — even lower than children’s toilets typically found in preschools (~11–12 inches). That’s not a standard fixture in any U.S. hotel or commercial property and may indicate either: • Incorrect installation (e.g., set too low or wrong model used), • Poor renovation or fixture reuse, or • Cost-saving / improper design choice by ownership. ? Technique for Sitting and Standing For a toilet that low, even athletic individuals need to be cautious. Here are some ways to avoid strain or imbalance: When lowering: • Place one hand on a stable surface (wall, sink edge, or grab bar if available). • Keep feet shoulder-width apart and bend at hips first, then knees — lowering slowly. • Avoid using the door handle; it’s not rated for weight and can twist loose. When rising: • Shift weight forward so your chest leans slightly over knees. • Press through heels and engage your legs. • Push from thighs or use a stable counter surface if available. If you encounter this repeatedly, a portable folding toilet riser or clip-on seat riser (adds 3–4 inches) can make future travel more comfortable. ? Toilet Water Level Near Rim That’s another red flag. A normal toilet bowl’s resting water level is 1½ to 2 inches below the rim. If it’s nearly full to the brim, that’s a malfunctioning fill valve or drainage/venting issue — both of which risk splashback or even overflow. Hotels should not have this condition in serviceable rooms. ? Loose Toilet Seat Loose seat bolts are both a safety hazard and a sign of poor maintenance. Housekeeping or maintenance staff can tighten or replace the fasteners within minutes. Documenting this (photo + front desk report) helps both guest safety and accountability if you wish to request partial refund or alternate room. ? Breakfast Misrepresentation • If advertised as “free breakfast”, even a “continental” breakfast must include at least one or more food items (e.g., fruit, cereal, toast, or pastries) — not coffee only. • This falls under “false advertising” per FTC guidelines and Booking partner obligations (Priceline, Expedia, etc.). You can (and should) file a short factual complaint with: • Priceline customer support (they will often issue a credit), • Choice Hotels guest relations (especially if it’s a Days Inn franchise). ? Room Issues (Smoke, Drain, Furniture) All of the following are valid grounds for concern: • Non-smoking rooms affected by smoke migration = violation of indoor air quality standards. • Slow drains indicates improper cleaning or clogged trap. • Insufficient furniture hotels are expected to provide adequate seating for double occupancy rooms. ? Weather Context A coincidental, flash flood warning and being confined indoors — in such conditions, the hotel’s indoor comfort standards matter even more, since guests cannot safely leave for meals or respite. ? Suggested Steps 1. Document the issues (photos, short notes). 2. Report them in writing to front desk and email to the brand’s guest relations (Choice Hotels Customer Care). 3. Contact Priceline for a “property misrepresentation” refund or voucher — they often respond within 24–48 hours. 4. For your own comfort in future stays, you can filter for ADA-accessible rooms or “Comfort height toilets” if mobility or ergonomics are a concern — this ensures proper fixture height. Additional comments are just the general care of the room. While, no bugs or cockroaches were observed, there are bugs in the form of mold on the lampshades. Every lampshade had mold stains.

Have stayed here several times. Consistently. Nothing fancy. Just a place to sleep. Air worked great. Housekeeping woke me up about 7:30. chatting and laughing outside my room. Very convenient and short drive over to the beach. Great location. The rooms are modest and simple. My sink did not have a stopper in it. All in all I will be back due to price and location

You can't beat the location for the price. Right across the road from the bridge to Navarre beach. Dang though,,, The walls are so this and if anything amplify the sounds from next door. My neighbor had the TV up louder than a legally deaf person would need it. At 3 am and 5 am there was only screams of duress from through the paper thin wall. No worries though. I hollerd back at them. Then I felt bad bc I think the person screaming was special needs. If that's not the case then an investigaThe next night the yelling stopped at 11pm. I didn't complain to the front desk. I am about to be camping anyway. I enjoyed the hot shower and location to the beach 100% would stay again. I just would move rooms the second night if my neighbors are being LOUD

The room was decent. There was a millipede The first morning. There was no net to clean the pool but it was mostly leaves and tree pieces. Not a lot. The shower for the pool was messed up. They do not offer military discount. They did not have breakfast. They only offered juice ans even that was out. We'd stay again only if we had no other choice or wanted to save money.
