The Residence Inn by Marriott Navarre Waterfront is a newly opened hotel boasting beautiful views and a convenient location near the bay bridge. Early reviews highlight a modern design and helpful staff, but ongoing issues with cleanliness and service need addressing.
Hotel is in a good location and the rooms were clean. That’s about the only good thing I have to say about it. The shower was not caulked on the bottom and it leaked water all on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was just pitiful, cheap and not enough coffee to go around…they ran out on a Saturday morning by 8 am. Get ready to sweat at night because they have the thermostat set to not go any lower and with a sunburn that sucks!! Not sure which I hate more the slow elevator or the room layouts.
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location but the service is definitely lacking. I've traveled for over 25 years for business and this has easily been among my worst experiences. Arrived at 8PM and waited over 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check me in. No other guests in line - just nobody at the desk. Went to my room which was very nice and clean and got a good night's sleep. Looking forward to my morning cup of coffee when I woke up at 8AM, I headed downstairs only to find out there were no cups to be had and the pot was empty. Decided I'd grab the usual hotel fare of eggs and sausage but that was gone as well. Ended up grabbing a bagel but got reprimanded like a 2 year old by staff when I went to adjust the toast level. I ended up going back up to the room with my bagel to make my own coffee and discovered the pot wouldn't turn on. Packed up and tried for coffee 1 more time - the cups had been replenished but still no coffee. If all you're looking for is a clean and nicely appointed room in a good location, this is great. Just be warned that this is a new hotel and the staff has obviously not gotten up to speed on service yet.
Wonderful room! Gorgeous views! Awesome location! Staff extremely hospitable! From my understanding, this facility just opened in Dec 2025. My wife and I were here for our birthdays(both of our birthdays are in January, believe it or not).
Excellent experience! Brand new hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights over New Year’s Day and it was excellent. Parking is free. I had the bay side view with a balcony and could see fireworks in multiple directions from the balcony and bedroom. Absolutely beautiful. Rooms are beautifully modern and I love the bar on the first floor. The staff is extremely warm and nice. I will be back to visit and when I do this is where I’m coming.
We are only staying two nights but this lovely new Marriott Residence Inn would be an appealing and comfortable stay for much longer. It is new and very well appointed. The staffer, Fred, who on duty was so cordial and exceptionally helpful! I feel lucky to have chosen this location and specific Marriott. Maybe a cocktail tonight and tomorrow morning breakfast as well!! ?
I had family staying here during the holidays. Fantastic experience! New and clean, the rooms are designed really well with great views of the Sound. And the Gulf, yonder! ? The hot breakfast options have been above average and delicious. The amenities are very inviting to use. The views are a 10 out of 10.
We stayd here for 5 nights. The location is great. The hotel is new. But, they don’t keep the rooms, hallway, elevators clean. We had to ask the room be cleaned several times. The housekeeping barely cleaned the room. We had two queen beds and sofa bed but he would only make one bed. Floors are dirty. When we first came, drinking glass had lipstick stain. Extra blanket stank, trash wasn’t taken out, toiletries were not replenished. The other room had a used towel and trash by their door (just tells me we are not the only ones not happy woth housekeeping) I am being generous with giving 3-stars. If they dont keep up with cleaning the place it will look ran down in a months time. The gentlemen in the front desk are nice. The one running the breakfast area is sweet and courteous. We wont be staying again in the future.
We had the unique experience of being the first occupant of a waterfront suite in the brand new Residence Inn, Navarre Fla. The Inn has all the latest amenities as you'd expect. Great location right on US-98 near the bay bridge. Covered parking beneath the facility with elevator access. Some general notes, first floor lobby, inviting lounge area, breakfast area (give a shoutout to breakfast attendants Kikea Miss Maui and Nurse Johnnie!), well equipped fitness room, laundry (CC reader at $3.50/load per machine) and very nice outdoor patio, BBQ area, and seating around the fire pit. Our unit had the separate bedroom, full kitchenette (no conventional oven), 50" smart TVs with basic cable (no NBC channel), and nicely furnished. The water quality in this motel is excellent, bottled water not really necessary. Couple issues with the very noisy AC unit in the bedroom and any heavy footsteps from above really shakes the ceiling in this unit. I'd recommend a top floor unit for any extended stay. There are not many attractions within walking distance but Navarre is a pretty nice area in general.
Incredible staff, very friendly and super helpful, with an amazing views!!! Will definitely be back again!!!
