The Residence Inn by Marriott Navarre Waterfront is a newly opened hotel receiving largely positive feedback, with guests praising its cleanliness, spacious rooms, and excellent location near the waterfront. While some guests appreciate the amenities and friendly staff, recurring issues regarding elevator wait times, entrance difficulties, and inconsistent housekeeping have been noted.
Stephanie was the highlight of the hotel. She should be a manager. Made us feel welcome and at home. Management was not friendly though and should have some training on customer service. The breakfast was good, but it ends too early The rooms were nice and clean, but the air did not work very good out in the main area. Great decor and pretty hotel
The room was organized, clean and comfortable. The service was great! The conversation at check in made us feel welcomed. The location was great and close to great dining options. I would definitely stay again!
Continental Breakfast is great. Rooms are spacious and clean. The bathroom commode surely can be higher. Strain for elderly to get that low. Check in was easy and appreciate the room card access feature to the elevator for floor access.
Overall, a very nice (and appeared to be fairly new) hotel. No major complaints or issues. However, the 4 stars instead of 5 are for three issues that made it less than ideal. 1. Elevators. There's only 2, and it has to handle not only guest traffic, but housekeeping / staff as well. While the staff was very nice, it does lead to extended waits while housekeeping is working. 2. Entrance from road. Getting into and out of the hotel from US98 is difficult at best during the day. There's no light (it's a fire station light only) and you have to fight both east bound 98 traffic as well as traffic exiting the Navarre Beach bridge to go 98 eastbound. And if you want to go west, beat of luck to you. 3. The AC. I get the occupancy sensor to save power, but if you use those, they need to be one in every room. When we were just in the living room, the AC was constantly turning off before the set temp. Like I said at the start, despite those frustrations, we enjoyed our stay overall so I can see us staying again.
We had the pleasure of staying here and it did not disappoint. Everything was clean, looked new, and spacious. A full kitchen, seating area, and work area. We had a king room with balcony/lake view and it was the most relaxing space. And when I say clean, I mean, I always clean my hotel rooms and for the first time I was impressed to only see a little Hair under the desk after I mopped. I did not see one ounce of dirt on any surface. Bri was the front desk rep and she was absolutely Amazing. She was so vibrant, knowledgeable, and attentive. Thank you Bri We will be back!!!
Hotel is in a good location and the rooms were clean. That’s about the only good thing I have to say about it. The shower was not caulked on the bottom and it leaked water all on the bathroom floor. The breakfast was just pitiful, cheap and not enough coffee to go around…they ran out on a Saturday morning by 8 am. Get ready to sweat at night because they have the thermostat set to not go any lower and with a sunburn that sucks!! Not sure which I hate more the slow elevator or the room layouts.
The hotel is beautiful and in a great location but the service is definitely lacking. I've traveled for over 25 years for business and this has easily been among my worst experiences. Arrived at 8PM and waited over 15 minutes for someone to come to the desk to check me in. No other guests in line - just nobody at the desk. Went to my room which was very nice and clean and got a good night's sleep. Looking forward to my morning cup of coffee when I woke up at 8AM, I headed downstairs only to find out there were no cups to be had and the pot was empty. Decided I'd grab the usual hotel fare of eggs and sausage but that was gone as well. Ended up grabbing a bagel but got reprimanded like a 2 year old by staff when I went to adjust the toast level. I ended up going back up to the room with my bagel to make my own coffee and discovered the pot wouldn't turn on. Packed up and tried for coffee 1 more time - the cups had been replenished but still no coffee. If all you're looking for is a clean and nicely appointed room in a good location, this is great. Just be warned that this is a new hotel and the staff has obviously not gotten up to speed on service yet.
Wonderful room! Gorgeous views! Awesome location! Staff extremely hospitable! From my understanding, this facility just opened in Dec 2025. My wife and I were here for our birthdays(both of our birthdays are in January, believe it or not).
Excellent experience! Brand new hotel. I stayed here for 3 nights over New Year’s Day and it was excellent. Parking is free. I had the bay side view with a balcony and could see fireworks in multiple directions from the balcony and bedroom. Absolutely beautiful. Rooms are beautifully modern and I love the bar on the first floor. The staff is extremely warm and nice. I will be back to visit and when I do this is where I’m coming.
We are only staying two nights but this lovely new Marriott Residence Inn would be an appealing and comfortable stay for much longer. It is new and very well appointed. The staffer, Fred, who on duty was so cordial and exceptionally helpful! I feel lucky to have chosen this location and specific Marriott. Maybe a cocktail tonight and tomorrow morning breakfast as well!! ?
